Perfecting Patient CareSM
Perfecting Patient CareSM is a healthcare transformation model in which patient care is driven by patient need. Based on the Toyota Production System, this system is taught regionally.
Public Health
Over 96 percent of the increase in life expectancy since the 1700s derives from public health campaigns. These funded programs are catalysts for action regarding the lack of adequate information, research and best practice in health care.
Aging
These programs help seniors age with dignity, security and loving care. Foundation funding creates new options for active, appropriate geriatric care for all, including housing, human services and end-of-life options for the frailest.
Jewish Community
The Foundation honors its Montefiore legacy by giving special attention to the health needs of the Jewish community. Funding aids important organizations in the community, including the Jewish Association on Aging, Jewish Family and Children's Services, the Jewish Community Center and Jewish Residential Services.
Professional Education
Foundation grants and programs supplement standard academic curricula with new methods in quality improvement, care giving, information technology and safety science.
