JHF Donates Benches Honoring Past Board Members to Hartwood Acres Sculpture Garden

The Sculpture Garden at Hartwood Acres, the Pittsburgh region's biggest public sculpture garden, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 10.

The yearslong Allegheny County project involved refurbishing and relocating sculptures around the park grounds surrounding Hartwood Acres mansion to provide a centralized experience for parkgoers.

Among the 14 sculptures in the centrally located sculpture garden are two benches donated by the Jewish Healthcare Foundation in honor of Patricia Siger, who served as JHF Board Chair from 2009-2011, and friend of the Foundation, James I. Mitnick, former Allegheny County Parks Foundation Board Chair from 2013-2019.
