Salk Fellows Receive Overview of Policy Process and Insights

Take an insider's look at our recent Salk Health Activist Fellowship session from October 13, where Fellows learned about the policy process from Sarah Pesi, MPP, Teen Engagement and Outreach Coordinator at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh, and Robert Ferguson, MPH, Chief Policy Officer at the Jewish Healthcare Foundation. This fourth session in the program gave the 29 participating Fellows from across Pennsylvania a better understanding of developing comprehensive, improved policies for pregnancy and maternal/reproductive health, a critical issue that affects many women and non-men in the United States.
