UpStreet Launches Website

Congratulations to UpStreet Pittsburgh on the launch of their new website! Check out the UpStreet site here.

UpStreet provides mental health services to teens in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas, currently offered through an accessible online chat system. JHF is pleased to support UpStreet, having awarded an $80,000 grant to Jewish Family and Community Services to develop UpStreet in March 2020. UpStreet was initially imagined as a teen mental health and wellness space, but now has expanded to deliver virtual programming and text-based support via UpStreet's website. These programs were designed in collaboration with a diverse youth advisory committee. The UpStreet grant is part of the Foundation's larger initiative to support community-based teen mental health programming with a total of $398,000 in grants to 14 local organizations that offer teen mental health programs.
