Health Activist Hanifa Nakiryowa

Hanifa Nakiryowa is an advocate for those who have been oppressed and abused. Her story and work is a part of a health activist movement happening across the world. She started the Center for Rehabilitation of Survivors of Acid Violence (CERESAV), a non-governmental organization, in 2012 to address acid violence in Uganda.
