Maternal Health Leaders Symposium Recap

On October 8, 2018 WHAMglobal hosted a Maternal Health Leaders Symposium at the Westin Convention Center in Downtown Pittsburgh. Nearly 130 local, national, and international leaders gathered to identify cutting-edge research and evidence-based programs that address the causes and conditions related to maternal and infant mortality, and identify action strategies.

WHAMglobal aims to identify the root causes of maternal and infant mortality; study high-quality maternal care models from around the world; champion policy, practice and payment reforms; and form a strong network of women’s health advocates.
