NEW Palliative/End-of-Life Care Learning Opportunity!
Death and Dying Series for Healthcare Professionals:
Enhancing Conversation Skills
70% of Americans prefer to die at home; only 33% actually do.
92% of people are willing to talk to their health provider about end-of-life care; only 11% have.
This series takes on a key challenge: the reality that professionals are not well prepared to deal with or talk about death, dying, and grieving families. This education series, modeled after the popular Death and Dying Fellowship for graduate students, provides healthcare professionals with an opportunity to learn, confront, and discuss the legal, medical, social, cultural, familial, and spiritual aspects of death and dying within a multi-disciplinary group in a low-pressure environment. Join us to gain the skills you need to have meaningful end-of-life conversations with your patients and their families.
