Flights for Puerto Rico - Health Activist Rosana Guernica
Health Activist Network
In the face of the catastrophe of Hurricane Maria and all the damage inflicted upon Puerto Rico, Carnegie Mellon University student Rosana Guernica raised a quarter of a million dollars to mobilize flights and supply deliveries to save as many lives as possible. Her activism has evolved into the establishment of 296Plus, a nonprofit named after the 296 lives they saved in Puerto Rico.
